In common with most counsellors, I do not offer a crisis service. If you need to talk to someone right now, perhaps call the Samaritans or Breathing Space. (click on either for links).
Supervision - if you are seeking a supervisor with an integrative modality, please give me a call.

Confidentiality

I work within the GDPR guidelines. I keep contact details and notes of our discussions in a paper file in a secure location. I have email addresses in my password-protected account on my PC and phone, which needs my fingerprint to access. I use your initials only in my phone contacts list and diary.
Everything we discuss is in confidence; it essential to our work . There are however, limits to confidentiality, for example if I suspect that harm may come to someone, or serious crime is involved. As part of my code of ethics, I have regular meetings with a supervisor (like a coach); part of their role is to ensure the client's best interests within the counselling process. However, names and other identifiers are never mentioned.
I will explain these points in more detail when we meet and at any other time you need clarification.
If you have a complaint about my service which you believe breaches COSCA's code of ethics, please contact them directly at www.cosca.org.uk
